Timothy Charles Holmseth contacts Amazon legal department in response to copyright claims by Richard Grund

by Timothy Charles Holmseth

Dear Amazon Legal Department:

I received a notice from Amazon Kindle that Richard J Grund filed a complaint stating he did not authorize use of his art (photo) in my ebook "In Re: Caylee Anthony (the shocking truth explained)". Mr. Grund's statement is false. I had permission. I will direct you to my book, also sold on Amazon, entitled "In Re: HaLeigh Cummings (the shocking truth revealed)". Please see page number 108. Mr. Grund's photo is featured. You will see by the publication date of that book that Mr. Grund never made this claim before. Mr. Grund proactively contacted me in 2009 and sought a media relationship with me. I subsequently interviewed him and his private investigator, William Staubs. Mr. Grund gave me permission to use his photo - any of which I chose off the Web. It had to be that way because I am in Minnesota and he is in Florida (so I could not shoot the photo myself). He contacted me again several times over the years and continued to attempt to advance a media relationship. He never rescinded his permission. Mr. Grund is making a false claim regarding a photo because he does not want the public to read what I have written. The fact that I published a studio photograph of Mr. Grund in 2011 and he never objected is clear and convincing evidence that I had permission.

Respectfully, Timothy Charles Holmseth / Investigative Author
